class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Stanko Pahi\u010d je bil vodilni arheolog Podravja in Pomurja. V O\u0160 je hodil na \u010cre\u0161njevec, gimnazijo pa je obiskoval v Mariboru. \u017de kot dijak je po\u0161iljal svoje literarne prispevke v Mlado jutro, prilogo ljubljanskega \u010dasopisa Jutro. Bil je peto\u0161olec mariborske gimnazije, ko se je leta 1941 za\u010dela nem\u0161ka okupacija Jugoslavije. Da ga ne bi prisilno mobilizirali v nem\u0161ko vojsko, se je zaposlil na \u017eeleznici kot progovni delavec. Delal je pri vzdr\u017eevanju telefonskih linij. V \u010dasu izkrcavanja zavezni\u0161ke vojske v Normandiji (Francija) so njegovo delovno skupino poslali z Dunaja (Avstrija) v Francijo, kjer so jih zajele zavezni\u0161ke enote. \u010ceprav ni bil nem\u0161ki vojak, so ga poslali v vojno tabori\u0161\u010de in nato v Anglijo, kjer se je vklju\u010dil v partizansko prekomorsko brigado in z njo pri\u0161el v Ljubljano prav na dan konca vojne 9. maja 1945. Po vrnitvi je nadaljeval \u0161olanje in bil med prvimi \u0161tudenti arheologije v Ljubljani. Po diplomi leta 1952 se je zaposlil kot kustos arheolo\u0161ke zbirke v PM v Mariboru, delal je tudi na terenu. Podro\u010dje njegovih raziskav so bila vsa arheolo\u0161ka obdobja (prazgodovina in rimska doba). Z dokumentiranjem podravskih in pomurskih arheolo\u0161kih najdi\u0161\u010d je veliko prispeval k dokumentiranju krajevne in pokrajinske zgodovine.
